This is my $800 beauty. I purchased this new about 8 years ago with good intentions. But it didn't take me long to realize I had no motivation to workout in my basement. You probably won't either. Maybe it has something to do with that pile of dirty laundry staring back at me while trying to get in a quick workout. Then the phone rings... probably should answer it, maybe I just won the lottery. I'm sure you love your kids like I do mine but with small children it is nearly imposable to have 30 to 45 minutes without interruptions. "I need a drink... I have to go to the bathroom," do I need to continue?
This year take that hard earned money and invest it in your local personal trainer. If you can find a good one, they are priceless! Can I say that? Think about it. Accountability is the KING! Those cobweb's in the basement will not hold you accountable. I will though. So do what 9 of my other clients did this morning and come to a group kettlebell workout.
Here's what we did today.
Partner up if you have one. Otherwise no big deal you can do this alone, it's just not as much fun in my opinion. I feel people tend to work harder in a group setting.
Set your Gymboss Interval Timer to 30 seconds work and 30 seconds rest.
One Partner will be doing 3 minutes of continuous Turkish Get Ups switching hands every rep. The other Partner will do 2 Hand Swings for 30 seconds on and 30 seconds off for 3 minutes. Rest 1 minute and switch spots with your partner. Try and get 4 rounds. That will give you 12 minutes of Get Ups and about 250 2 Hand Swings. Do more or less depending on how you feel!
Happy New Year!!!
